What unfolds when legends collide? On one side, we have the Isle of Man. The 37.7-mile course is host to one of the most dangerous and well-known motorcycle races of the modern time. On the other side, we have the Mustang Bullitt. Born as a movie star, this Ford-made car is a household name for muscle enthusiasts. And recently, they met.

The merger of magic was because of one of the latest "Europe’s Greatest Driving Roads" films. In this particular installment, vehicle journalist Steve Sutcliffe operated a right-hand-drive Mustang Bullitt along the mountain course. Sutcliffe praised the vehicle for handling the artistically described track.

“Imagine German autobahns, then add hills and twists, and shrink it to a single carriageway with incredible views, and what you have are these utterly fantastic, and dramatic, roads. The ‘Mountain Road’ section feels—and is—an utterly dramatic piece of road to drive. It’s epic, and quite unlike anywhere else.”

You can watch the Bullitt take on the course for yourself in the video above. The track is the centerpiece for the Isle of Man TT Festival, which brings in millions of fans a year to watch professionals take on the track. In the last 110 years, a total of 250 racers have lost their lives attempting the course.
