In my long list of vehicles that I'd like to see given a modified resurgence, the Mitsubishi Lancer was not one of them. And in an act of serendipity, it's new design is equally unexpected. Introducing the Allroads Ronin.

Created by Vilner Studio, the Allroads Ronin takes the heart of Japan and melds it into every inch of this Lancer. The doors, armrest, and headrests were formed into a pattern inspired by samurai armor. The dash and door trims are wrapped in Amaretta, a special Japanese fabric.

Another homage to Nihon is in its sound. The Ronin contains over 77 pounds of sound dampening materials, the most Vilner has ever used in a vehicle. Vilner boss Atanas Vilner spoke about what the Ronin means.

“It’s not a samurai in search his new self. this is a Ronin on a mission to conquer every road.”

The sharpest (no pun intended) part of the modification is the exterior. LED headlights, wheel arch guards, and roof graphics will ride 20mm higher, powered down the road with a 2.0-liter turbo engine pushing 241hp.

No word on release or pricing yet. Even so, Vilner Studio has proven their automotive honor with this car.
