You might think that stripping the paint off of a car is as simple as taking a palm sander to the areas that need work. That was, and always has been, my understanding of the process as well, but it appears as though I was horribly wrong. As a matter of fact, professionals actually use a strong chemical goo that literally pops the paint right off of the car.

In a video by AMMO NYC, we're actually able to see this entire process as a team of professionals work to repaint his Porsche 911. It's a really interesting video and certainly opened my eyes to painting process, which at the end of the day kind of resembles a crime scene.
