The automotive community must be getting bored with breaking car records. We previously reported on Honda's 134mph lawnmower. Now the BBC's Top Gear has stepped up, Sending The Stig to break the Guinness World Record for world's fastest tractor.

The BBC made the announcement on Thursday, before their upcoming episode of Top Gear. This episode features Top Gear hosts Matt LeBlanc and Chris Harris, who try and best The Stig's record, set at 87.27 miles per hour. They operated a modified farm tractor known as the Track-tor. The big-wheeled beast was fitted with a 5.7-liter small-block V-8 engine, adjustable air suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes. The Track-tor has an estimated 500 horsepower behind 54-inch tires. To better fit the spirit, it was also equipped with LED lights and given a Lamborghini orange coat of paint.

As expected with such a silly show, the hosts will also take the Track-tor onto the freeway for some tomfoolery, a hedge-trimming contest, and even something called the "frozen vegetable challenge." We'll find out more about that on Sunday.
