Three storm chasers were unfortunately killed in West Texas on March 28th. Two cars were involved in the car accident, one contained two passengers and the other having just one single driver. The crash was between a Jeep and a Chevrolet Suburban SUV, and after the crash both cars were found in horrible condition.

The Weather Channel has identified two of the storm chasers as Kelley Williamson and Randy Yarnall, both of them being contractors for the network. The other storm chaser that died was Corbin Lee Jaeger from Peoria, Arizona. The accident had no survivors and occurred just outside of Spur, Texas when one of the vehicles ran a stop sign at an intersection and collided with the other. All three of the people involved in the accident were pronounced deceased at the scene when police arrived to the site of the crash.

At the time of the crash, tornadoes and heavy rain were reported in the area. Being storm chasers, the weather most likely distracted the drivers and this extremely unfortunate event transpired. This is a very sad accident and unfortunately the worst possible outcome came out of it.
