Care for a spot of tea? Mercedes's first Maybach SUV can handle that. The new concept vehicle is due to debut at the Beijing Autoshow, but automaker boss Gorden Wagener gave us a sneak peek at the vehicle on his Instagram page.

Formally called the Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury, it does a fantastic job of keeping true to its name. White leather and gold trim surround copper backings, individual seats, wooden door panels, panoramic roofs, and of course, a tea set.

Judging by the glimpse we got of the tea set, it will have an in-cabin settings module, which will allow you to set the temperature of the tea. That way it's hot and fresh whenever you need it.

The Vision is expected to share a platform with the GLS. Mercedes plans to bring the vehicle to full production, with the final model on display at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show. Expect to see it on the market in 2019. We'll see a more in-depth view of the SUV when the Beijing auto show begins.
