Well known provider of racing and performance lubricants Champion will be sponsoring the Williams Grove National Open, sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series on September 28th thru September 30th in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Lasting over 50 years, The Champion Racing Oil National Open has had some of the biggest names in motorsports. The event will be taking place in the famous venue, The Williams Grove Speedway. There will be 25-lap competitions for $10,00 on Thursday as well as Friday, with a Championship Race taking place on Saturday for a whopping $50,000. Lastly, there will be a rain make-up race on the 28th for the Champion Racing Summer National Title.
The half-mile dirt track located in Mechanicsburg, Pa., Williams Grove Speedway opened in 1939 and has hosted many championship races. They continue the tradition of racing every Friday as well as nearly every Saturday, but the Williams Grove National Open is possibly one of the most prestigious of these special events.
If you live close to Mechanicsburg, then this is no doubt an opportunity you wont want to miss to see some of the best dirt race vehicles available.
