Well, it looks like the Lombardi trophy is pretty popular among football fan and even animals. This weekend, the Maine State Police responded to a minor car accident in Fairfield while a Patriots employee was on his way to Bangor, Maine for an event. The car was involved in an accident with a deer and to the police officer's surprise, the Lombardi Trophy was riding passenger in the vehicle. The accident left nobody injured and the trophy was absolutely fine.

The officer took a moment to take a picture of himself with the Lombardi Trophy and decided to post it up on his Facebook wall. The Patriots have proven that whether it's a deer or some Falcons, no animals stand a chance against them. The trophy made its way safely for the rest of the ride and arrived to the event right on time.

The officer took the employee and his wife in a police cruiser and brought them to the event. During the drive, the officer heard the two of them talking about the trophy. This was when he found out that he was actually transporting the Lombardi Trophy in his cruiser.
