The Lexus LC-500 is a Japanese car with the look and feel of a luxury German vehicle. This 2-door features a 10-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a front placed engine. It has an electrically limited top speed of 168mph though its capable of more. With a base price of $92,000, This ride is coup is by no means your average car.

The Lexus LC-500 has a 4.4-second sprint to 60 mph, and a quarter-mile of about 13 seconds. While this is respectable it's by no means above average; Most cars in this class have faster quarter-mile times. This may have been due to its not-so-great shifting. Regardless of mode, the LC-500 downshifts took several beats too long.

There are 6 modes for the Lexus  LC-500. Sport and Sport+ make adjustments to the steering, suspension, and shift points, while Comfort and Eco modes soften the steering and suspension.

While speed and launch power are important, where this car really shines is in its controls. Handling like a dream, the Lexus LC-500 lets you zip and spin around corners and turns effortlessly. This makes it a blast to drive, much more than it does to drag race.

Here are some photographs that our other Writer Ago took when he saw the LC500h at Toyota Headquarters.
