Hennessey Performance has announced the unveiling of their upcoming Hennessey Venom F5, a modified version of the Hennessey Venom GT. The Texas tuners had gained a great deal of attention when they achieved a top speed of 270.49 miles per hour with their Hennessey Venom GT, and they are looking to push that envelope further.

The Hennessey Venom F5 is a hypercar named after a hurricane category. F5 hurricanes have wind speeds of 261 to 318 miles per hour. Fitting given that the top speed they're aiming for with this triple exhaust fitted car.

With a custom chassis and design, the Venom F5 is being constructed at the Hennessey Headquarters in Texas. In the video, they announce that the Hennessey Venom F5 will be unveiled November 1stat the SEMA event in Las Vegas. We haven't been able to see the finalized full body yet, only close-ups of the rear. If the trailer isn't purely for show, then it appears that a great deal of effort went into the aerodynamics of the body. It appears to have a mid-engine design as well.

You will be able to see the car for yourself in the Shell Pioneering Performance Pavilion this November 1st at SEMA in Las Vegas.
