Dubai is an astounding place. Every vehicle that comes out of there has managed to exceed my expectations. This time I'm talking about the Devel Sixty, a super 6x6 prototype powerful enough to best a Mercedes-AMG GT.

Dubai local Devel has produced a new SUV, though it looks more like a tank. Revealed at the 2017 Dubai Auto Show, the Sixty Concept is reportedly capable of 0-60 mph in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 93 mph. It's massive size being pulled forward by an equally large 700 horsepower.

Devel made their claim to fame in 2013, when they promised a supercar capable of 5,000 hp and a top speed of 348 mph. Yes, you read that correctly. So far, the best of the best can only barely reach 2,000 hp, like the 2017 Arash AF10 Hybrid. So if they want to hit 5K, they still have a long way to go.

A 6.7-liter turbocharged V-8 diesel is responsible for the Sixty's output. The engine pushes six large wheels on portal axles, thanks to the custom six-wheel-drive system. This tall boy has a hight clearance of at least 90 inches. Though if you took it under a low bridge, the bridge just might lose. (This is a joke, please do not drive your SUV into low bridges)

Production is taking place in the United States with a starting price set at $450,000. No word yet on when the first example will be delivered. Don't worry about those heavy emissions in the video. Devel says that the production version will meet emissions standards without the loss of any power.
