It's always a treat seeing the first example of a new vehicle. If you were lucky enough to be participating in the 2018 Woodward Dream Cruise, then you had the chance to see the debut of the 2019 Ford Shelby GT.

It had been a while since we've seen a Shelby GT on the market. And now it's more powerful than ever. Available in either a coupe or convertible, the GT comes with the 5.0-liter V-8 engine standard in a Mustang GT, but bumped up to an output of 480 horsepower thanks to a Borla exhaust kit. If that isn't enough, you can opt in for a supercharger upgrade to push it beyond 700 hp.

Production will be handled by Shelby American in their Las Vegas facility, while distribution handled by various North American Ford dealers. To get the vehicle in other countries, you'd have to track down one of the company's affiliate mod shops.

The price for one comes out to $61,345, including the price of a donor Mustang GT.
