Personally speaking, we need more performance pickups. If you have the same hankering as me, you may want to check out Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE). The performance company recently unveiled the 2018 Yenko/SC Silverado, and now they're back to announce a rear-wheel drive option.

The Yenko/SC Silverado is a performance modification of the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, originally offered in only 4x4. It featured a stroked and supercharged 6.8-liter LT1-based V-8 engine, capable of 800 hp and 750 pound-feet of torque.

the increased power is the primary focus of the performance package, but it doesn't stop there. SVE also replaces the breaks with 16.1-inch Brembo front brakes with six-piston calipers, a larger-diameter front sway bar, a ride lowering kit that drops the front 2 inches and the rear 5 inches, Rancho shocks, and a locking rear differential with a 3:42 axle ratio.

You can see the Yenko name on the front grille, doors, and tailgate, with Yenko striping accents whatever color palette you choose. All of which is held up by 22-inch Torque Thrust wheels. If you want anything more than the standard interior seats, you can add on the plaid houndstooth pattern package for $2,495 extra.

The Yenko/SC Silverado doesn't come cheap. The modifications cost a total of $46,995, not including the cost of the donor Silverado 1500. You can raise that number higher if you opt in for the numbered badge and key fobs. While rear-wheel drive is ideal for a performance pickup, SVE only plans to build 25 of them. So act fact, if you can afford it.
