We first heard about the Rimac's C_Two electric supercar last month, at this year's Geneva auto show. Despite the incredible $2 million starting price, the vehicle has already sold out.

Autocar published an interview with Kreso Coric, the sales head at Rimac. In this, he says that the firm only planned on producing 150 cars and that most of the sales slots have already been claimed. With at most $600,000 worth of options and a base price of $2 million, we're surprised at the impressive rate.

The money isn't going toward nothing. The performance specs for the C-Two are nothing short of impressive. The electric vehicle claims a 0-60 mph acceleration of 1.85 seconds, a quarter mile of 9.1 seconds, and a top speed of a 258 mph. The four-motor electric powertrain pushes out an unbelievable 1,914 horsepower and 1,696 pound-feet of torque.

All of this is "fueled" by a 120-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery. This gives it an approximate 400-mile range. The vehicle utilizes high-speed charging technology that I don't understand to achieve an 80% battery charge in only 30 minutes.

Like many production cars, the C_Two has a heating issue at peak performance. This means that extended time at maximum exertion is bad for the vehicle. Though Rimac reassures us, stating that the car is good for at least two laps of the 12.9-mile Nürburgring without any drop in performance.

Delivery of the C_Two is expected for 2020, right alongside the Tesla Roadster 2020.
