With a name like SpeedKore Performance Group, you can guess what kind of vehicle they're capable of. Now the Wisconsin based group is back with another SEMA build to prove their namesake. It's the duel turbocharged 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.
As the name implies, this particular Demon had its supercharger replaced with a pair of turbochargers. The powerful couple boosts the engine pressure to the V-8 engine, resulting in a whopping 1,200 horsepower on the wheels.
SpeedKore wanted to build the world's fasted Demon. And based on its performance specs, they might have done just that. The demon achieved a quarter mile time of 8.77 seconds with a trap speed of 162 mph. The run was even confirmed by NHRA Top Fuel drag racer Leah Pritchett.
The build comes with a collection of other modifications, of course. SpeedKore specializes in carbon fiber as much as they do powertrains. This means the modified Demon also comes with some of the best carbon fiber panels and body shells. In its unpainted form, it looks almost like art.
The Demon will appear at this year's SEMA show, taking place in Las Vegas on October 30.
