The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is a powerful, but heavy, muscle car. weighing over 4,000 pounds, the car makes up for it with its incredible power. What if you didn't need to make up for its weight? SpeedKore has had this exact thought, and they intend to premiere their solution at the 2017 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
SpeedKore has taken the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and outfitted it in all carbon fiber. The details of how much that shaves off the total weight are being saved for the SEMA reveal itself, but SpeedKore promises high-quality construction and OEM fitment.
Based in Grafton, Wisconsin, SpeedKore have used their Autoclave facility to do carbon fiber modifications in the past. For last year's SEMA show they presented a carbon fiber-bodied Challenger Hellcat, So they are by no means new to building carbon fiber parts for powerful vehicles.
If that isn't enough, Sammy Hagar, rock and roll legend, will be part of the Demon's unveiling at the SpeedKore press conference on October 31st. It's only fitting, given how much easier it will be to be unable to drive 55 with this lightweight muscle car.
