According to the automaker, no one makes a Rolls-Royce like Rolls-Royce does. And they’re so confident in that fact that their reviving their coachbuilding service.

This information comes to us from a statement by Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös, the brand is making a new division known as Rolls-Royce Coachbuild. Here, they will offer unique vehicle modifications to meet specific customer needs.

“We are able to offer our customers the opportunity to create a motor car in which every single element is hand-built to their precise individual requirements.”

As limitless as it sounds, there will still be a few limitations. The first is that they will not permit anything outside of their safety guidelines. An overly obvious example is something like adding swords to the front of the car or something like that.

The other, more vaguely arbitrary limitation, will be the price. A Rolls-Royce is already a rather expensive car, modifications to it from the brand themselves will no doubt leave a heavy invoice. With past models reaching up to $12 million. Even for the rich, that’s a lot of cash.

Further details about the new coachbuilding service will be released shortly. Not that we’re going to need it or anything.
