Ringbrothers, based out of Spring Green, Wisconsin, garnered a great deal of attention this SEMA Show. Particularly with their 1972 AMC Javelin AMX with a 1,100-horsepower Hellcat engine swapped under the hood. The amazing craftsmanship and detail focused on here aren't with the Javelin, but with a 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck.

Dubbed Clem 101, the 1956 Ford F-100 is a mix of classic beauty and modern efficiency. The box frame was built from scratch and suited up with modern suspensions. This boasts such upgrades as RideTech coilovers, a 4-link rear setup, and a custom sway bar

While the body has that old-school-cool, under the hood has some modern power. A 4-speed automatic transmission is fitted with a 5.0-liter “Coyote” V-8, a Ford Racing fuel injection system, and a Flowmaster exhaust, making it capable of up to 415 horsepower. Which is still double that of your run-of-the-mill street vehicle. Not for mention the John’s Industries 9.0-inch rear end wheels and the RE Vintage Series 545 forged wheels, Baer brakes, and Nitto tires.

Originally a 1954 F-100, the Ringbrothers replaced the cab with that of a '56 model to give it a slightly more modern look. Some body changes were still made to optimize the vehicle. Changes like widened fenders, a custom bed, and a fresh coat of paint. As for the inside, they did their best to keep it as true to form as they could. An exception was made for a modern stereo system, however.
