Kahn Design isn't the only one who can take a hard worker and spruce them up into an icon of class. Mil-Spec Automotive have been making their own high-end efforts with the Hummer H1. The company announced their latest creation on Monday, dubbed the #002 Launch Edition.

As you might have guessed, this is the follow-up design to the #001 Launch Edition. The #002 features a slant-black roof as opposed to the open top design of the first edition. It also is given new equipment that MSA never intended to offer.

The #002 is a bespoke vehicle, so many of the design choices were to the customer's liking. The model will be available to interested parties to order, however. This includes a unique air-ride suspension and seat set. This allows for a 7-inch adjustable ride height while still retaining a fair level of comfort. But this is a luxury vehicle, so of course it also has massagers and a heating and cooling system inside the seats as well.

The #002 has a special interior package, referred to as 1a. It lets the customer choose what hardware and leathers they want lining the insides of the vehicle. This ranges from door panels to seat inserts.

Under the hood is an upgraded 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V-8 engine pushing 500 horsepower and 1,000 pound-feet of torque. So you can still do those heavy duty tasks one would expect from a Hummer, and then some.

Although a customer build, MSA will offer it to the public for the low, low price of $218,499 to $290,837.
