We had some teasing towards the Mercedes A-Class last year in Shanghai. Now the automaker is back to give us another glance at the model, which is due to premiere February 2 in Amsterdam.

Whether both the sedan and hatchback versions of the vehicle will be presented in Amsterdam is unknown. What we do know is that it will be on the second-generation MFA platform with the CLA and GLA. How it distinguishes itself from the what we saw in the past will be interesting.

The A-Class will have a rather modern cabin considering its stance as a more affordable Mercedes option. The large touchscreen console accented by the free-floating widescreen, and the ambient lighting. And like we saw last year, Mercedes’ infotainment system will feature new natural speech recognition technology.

So far the A-Class is looking like a pretty nice ride for the not-quite-upper class. Though the full details will be made clear soon enough. More about the A-Class can be found on Mercedes Benz's webpage.
