McLaren's virtual hypercar, the Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo, will be coming to the physical world.

Unfortunately, we didn't say mass production. The real-life creation, codenamed the BC03, is a special commision ordered by a loyal customer. The McLaren Special Operations are the ones handling the one-time production.

BC is an uncommon title used by the automaker. It stands for "Bespoke Commision," while the number (03) refers to how many have happened so far. The first commision was the X-1 supercar from 2012 and the second was last year's MSO R.

A McLaren representative was able to confirm the vehicle's existence after it was reported by Piston Heads.

“We confirm that BC03 is a bespoke customer commission being created by McLaren Special Operations but we cannot give any further details because the specifics of the project are confidential between MSO and its client.”

The actual model won't be exact to the virtual forefather. This version won't have the driver laying on their stomach to drive. Though the powertrain may carry over. The virtual concept has a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 paired with four electric motors. If the real-life variant does have the same, the vehicle can expect around 1,135 horsepower and 940 pound-feet of torque.

I'd love to see what it looks like on the track.
