Normally when a celebrity starts a new venture, its either wine or a clothing line. Strange investments seem to be a trend for such stars. While I'm not criticizing Nicki Minaj's taste in alcoholic beverages, it doesn't stand up against everything Mark Wahlberg does. The actor has done everything from music to food management. And now, he's starting his own car dealership.

The 47-year-old actor recently announced that he'll be opening a Chevrolet dealership in Columbus, Ohio in partnership with dealership expert Jay Feldman.

"I am continuously looking for ways to innovate my brand and engage in businesses I am passionate about. I love cars and the chance to work with an experienced, proven dealer-operator like Jay and represent an iconic brand like Chevrolet inspired me to get involved."

The Jack-of-all-trades entrepreneur has his hand in plenty of pots. Wahlberg restaurants are in 14 different states plus Canada, he has a movie production company, a health and wellness organization, and even a water line in partnership with music artist P. Diddy. He was a Calvin Klein model for a time, and I'm sure we all remember Marky Mark and the funky bunch.

No word on when the dealership will officially open. But if this proves a worthwhile endeavor, we can probably expect it to expand.
