Jalopnik recently put up a piece about a man named Richard Jordan who had everything he was told to want. Cars, a new house, and a fiancee. Then his fiancee left him. So he sold everything, bought a Lamborghini Gallardo and set out on an adventure most of us would probably never even attempt.

So we have Richard selling everything and putting up his life savings to afford a $90,000 down payment on the car itself, then proceeds to put nearly 100,000 miles on this super car jotting across the country while picking up nearly $25,000 in tickets and fines. Yeah, I had to pick up my jaw a bit on that one! Soo... Smart? Needing a sense of direction? A waste or a youthful adventure? If anything, this will show the "longevity" of these exotic and highly expensive cars. Are they really worth all that money or simply just a status symbol that won't last? Those are my questions more than the story itself which is indeed an incredible one by the way. Let's all hope Richard has found his new sense of direction!
