Lanzante already had their way with the McLaren F1 LM. Now the British motorsport and engineering company got a hold of the F1 GT Longtail.

Based on the McLaren P1 GTR track car, it's undergone a heavy road car conversion by Lanzante, complete with a fresh coat of XP Green paint like that on the original F1 GT Longtail. The rear section was lengthened and given a rather large wing over a new diffuser. Though aesthetics are only part of what makes this a fascinating vehicle.

Little has been revealed in the way of powertrain specs. In the standard P1 GTR, a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 combined with an electric motor pushes out a total 986-horsepower. This allowed a 0-60 mph time around 2.5 seconds and a top speed of around 217 mph. So we can expect numbers equal to or greater than this.

This was a private commision by an individual in the middle east. So we don't expect to see any additional examples enter production.
