Even luxury supercars get recalled, it seems. around 1,700 Lamborghini Aventador coupes and roadsters have been issued recalls as of June 12.
The issue lies with the engine software, which could cause the vehicle to stall at low speeds. This may affect all Aventador models in the U.S. manufactured between now and 2012. This includes the special variants like the Centenario and Veneno. This being a software issue means it just means an update to be resolved.
Less than 7,000 vehicles will be recalled worldwide, which means this should be a quickly resolved issue.
This is the second time the automaker had to recall one of their high-end models. Last time it was something as simple as a label incorrectly displaying the gross vehicle weight rating. It was a fairly easy fix, as you could imagine.
