Kia unvealed the concept at the Detroit Auto Show and call it "the brand's most aggressive concept car ever." And you know what? I believe them!
The car itself is a RWD coupe in which the engineers are said to have focused on a reduction in weight, functionality and pure driving enjoyment. It boasts a 2.0L Turbocharged direct injected 4 cyclinder engine pumping out 315 horse power. That's sure to leave a Toyata FR-S in the dust and probably even beat a Subaru WRX STI due to its lighter footprint which comes in at just 2,874 pounds. The chassis comes with an independent double wishbone suspension. Other tidbits to chew on are that it has a close-ratrio six speed manual transmission and Brembo Gran Turismo 2 piece 15 inch cross-drilled rotors and 4 piston capilars for stopping power.
Kia says they have no plans to bring it into production but do admit that could change.
