Choosing between an all wheel drive or a rear wheel drive vehicle can be difficult. One gives better traction and handling while the other gives punch and satisfying burnouts. Fortunately for Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk owners, you don't have to choose.

With a couple minutes of waiting, drivers can swap between AWD and RWD as they wish. YouTube content creator Mod2Fame (Stefan Williams) discovered the ability in a recent video, where he pulls the fuse from the traction control system. He originally discovered the trick with his Dodge Durango SRT, and used a recent visit the the Motor Envy meetup in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, to see if it worked with Trackhawks as well.

Yes, it does.

Shown off in a video, all you have to do is open the hood, access the fuse box, and remove the correct fuse. This will convert the AWD vehicle into a rear-wheeled monster. While the vehicle functions as normal, a traction control warning light appears on the dashboard.

All things considered, you're best off staying with the AWD, as that's what the vehicle is intended and designed for. But the conversion is great for showing off with burnouts.
