One man's trash is another man's treasure. Or in this case, it's $125,000. But they say you can't put a price on art.

It begins with two BMW M1s. The rare supercar was only built between 1978 and 1981, when 453 examples were produced. Two of these vehicles, now defunct, are becoming a work of art in one enthusiast's garage.

The first car came from Bring A Trailer, an online car auction. The 1980's vehicle was totaled in a serious accident. Despite being in such a condition, the listing was set at $125,000. The second vehicle was discovered shortly after the first one, inspiring the idea of combining the two together for a better whole piece.

The two vehicles will be the focus piece for a large wall display. The M1 wall piece has been wired up a fair degree, allowing the owner to turn the lights on. The full construction process was even captured on video, lucky us.

The overall cost of the project remains unknown, though it couldn't have been cheap. I'm envious, all the same.
