Automakers seem to really like playing with Lego bricks. Honda Australia has built its own life-sized Honda Civic Type R near-entirely out of Lego.

The project, taking over 1,300 hours to build, was led by Ryan McNaught, a professional Lego builder, along with nine assistants. It took more than 320,000 bricks to make, going down to every last detail, including windshield wipers. To help support its size and weight, the team used a steel frame as internal support.

Unlike other instances of Lego-made cars, Honda AUS also released a video showing off the level of detail.

As seen in the video, the Honda Lego Civic does a little bit more than look pretty. The operator can control the working headlights, hazards, and brake lights using an iPad.

Based on the average price of a Lego brick, this "vehicle" cost around $35,000 to make, not including labor. That's just a bit more affordable than buying a new Honda Civic Type R for $35,700.
