Cadillac is good at looking good, but the right vehicle is nothing to scoff at. The CTS-V is one of the brand's more powerful cars. And now that Hennessey got their hands on it, it's an even bigger threat. It's called the HPE1000.

Your average CTS-V pushes around 640 horsepower. With the might of Hennessey, it's raised to a hefty 1,000 hp and 966 pound-feet of torque. This makes it capable of an impressive 0 to 60 mph time of 2.9 seconds and a quarter mile time of 10.5 seconds. We even see it reach speeds of 135 mph, though it can supposedly go up to 200 mph in ideal conditions.

It wasn't magic that made the CTS-V stronger, but quality engineering. The tuner added a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine, the source of its power. This is refined and improved upon through a high-flow supercharger, new piping, and an improved exhaust. The fuel system has been modified to properly compensate the new power supply, and various stock items have been swapped out for generally better parts.

A full list of improvements can be found on the official Hennessey page for the vehicle. This includes contacts for interested buyers.
