Fantastic news fall on Mustang enthusiasts recently, the 2019 Ford GT350 will be receiving a number of upgrades.
Ford called the GT350 the “best handling Mustang of all time” when it released in 2016. It featured Stiffer chassis bracing, magnetic ride control, and Brembo-sourced brakes, making it one of the most potent variants on the market. The automaker intends to keep this title fresh by improving it even further for the upcoming model year.
Aerodynamics will be one of the most visible changes to come to the vehicle. an optimized grille closeout front and a redesigned spoiler in the back. You can also get a Gurney flap as an optional addition to the spoiler.
Ford coordinated with Michelin to modify a set of Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, giving the vehicle better grip, acceleration times, and braking speeds. Ford updated the suspension with recalibrated springs and revised damping to accommodate the increased performance.
Under the hood is a 5.2-liter flat-plane crank V-8 producing 526 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. It sends its power through a Tremex six-speed manual transmission. This gives the vehicle an approximate 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds.
In the cabin, your ears will be blessed (or blasted) by a 12-speaker B&O PLAY system, controlled via Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system. The same screen also has dual-zone automatic temperature control and Homelink garage door opener.
The 2019 GT350 will be on dealer lots starting in early 2019. Customers will also be given complimentary enrollment in Ford’s high-performance driving school, in order to learn their vehicle's full potential hands on.
