It has become just a little easier to get more power behind a Ford without worrying about the risk. The car manufacturer has released a number of “high-quality, tailor-made, Ford-approved performance parts” that not only can be fitted at a local dealer by a trained technician but doing so will not void your warranty.
These performance upgrades will be available for the Fiesta ST, Focus ST and RS and the Mustang. These parts are the result of a joint effort between Ford, Roush, Borla, KW, and Remus.
The upgrades include changes to the chassis, suspension, exhaust, as well as engine tuning and various styling changes. All of which are designed to make your car just a little faster. Coilover and shock absorber kits reduce up to a 40mm in ride height, and lightweight alloy wheels, for example.
Ford will be presenting some of these performance upgraded vehicles at the Essen Motor Show. Pricing for the parts and service depends on the upgrades chosen, and the model they're to be performed on. Though power never comes cheap.

Ford has been great at this for years. When I had my Mustang GT, they had a supercharger that was warrantied and an adjustable suspension. Too bad they don't have aftermarket interior kits. I hated the cheap plastic doors!
