Buckle Up Ladies, This Might Get Exciting
In case you missed it, a Dodge Charger just went all Dukes of Hazzard in Detroit, hence bringing the city some much-needed excitement, sans urban exploring.
Take a look at stunt driver Raymond Kohn completely kill it. Oh, and by kill it, we mean the landing.
Damages Galore
Still, onlookers definitely found it amusing, and cheered Kohn on, while police ran to his aid. Thankfully, the man is made out of some kind of indestructible alloy, and came out unharmed.
Our favorite part about this video is how the passenger door opens when he lands. He eats it with such force, wrecking the left front end of the Dodge Charger. Well, mainly, but realistically, it's more like the entire front.
The ramp was five feet tall, and the vehicle was '69 Charger was going 55 miles an hour when it launched into the polluted Detroit air at an astonishing 25 feet. Distance, 134 feet. And no, this is not a math problem.
Kohn, The Newfound American Hero
Upon being interviewed, Kohn laughed, coughed, and called the Dukes of Hazzard the "greatest show ever." He took the humble approach and said he was terrified, and that he does stunts because he's scared.
If that isn't enough to get you to do something crazy, we don't know what is. Just make sure it's not, you know, deadly.
Note, the back end of the vehicle was also damaged upon the landing. Whoever is fixing the car has some major work to do...
