Some Chicago dealerships are very upset that people keep stealing their cars. How is this becoming such a huge problem? Well, the dealers are deciding to leave the keys inside the cars. In the middle of the night thieves will come in and find the cars that have keys inside of them. They open the unlocked door, start the engine, and then use the stolen vehicles for crime.

In one night a dealership lost 13 vehicles. Those cars were linked to homicides, theft, and other crimes. I have no idea how this problem can be fixed. I mean, the keys need to be inside of the cars constantly. If you take them out of the car, you might lose the keys and then have to call somebody to shimmy the lock. Apparently Chicago dealers just have no idea what to do.

I honestly can't believe that this is happening. I mean, it's not even one dealership. This has happened all over the city at numerous dealerships and apparently people aren't learning. Hopefully the police and the dealerships can work together to come up with a valid solution to this growing problem in the city.
