Bruiser Conversions doesn't act lightly when it comes to their modified cars. And boy do they love to modify the Jeep Wrangler. The auto mod company has recently unveiled their latest creation: the Jeep Wrangler Honcho.
It begins as a JK Unlimited, which is quickly converted into a Wrangler Pickup. The Gladiator front clip is given a retro style, along with the badging. You'll notice a bed-mounted roll cage, Dana 60 axles, Beadlock wheels with 42-inch BFGoodrich tires, and an upgraded suspension.
Under the hood rests a General Motors LS3 V-8 engine. Though if you want more kick, you can opt-in for a Cummins turbodiesel 2.8-liter inline-4 engine instead. While the package starts at $40,000 over the cost of the Wrangler, you can continue to purchase performance upgrades until you achieve a maximum of 690 horsepower.
While the jutting front clip can be jarring, it's actually a fantastic homage to the first generation Jeep Gladiator pickup. The 1962 to 1969 builds features the same nose, until they switched over to the same front clip as the Wagoneer.
All things combined, you have a wonderfully modern vehicle with a respect to traditional design. Now only if it had 60's era prices.
