The Bentley Bentayga carries a hefty price tag of $200,000. While that is a fitting price for the ultra-luxury vehicle category that Bentley is familiar with, it doesn't quite fit for the average family looking for a sensible midsized SUV. To help make the Bentayga just a touch more reasonable, they have plans to announce a plug-in Hybrid version of the car at the Geneva Motor Show.

We are expecting to get our first look at the hybrid rendition in a few months. Current speculation is that the vehicle will borrow technology from the Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid, which pairs a 326-hp, 2.9-liter, twin-turbo V-6 with a 134-hp electric motor to make a system total of 456 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. A fully charged Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid can drive up to 30 miles on pure electric power.

The expected release date of the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid is mid-2018, They still have to promote their non-hybrid V8 version, after all.
