We may have a few years until Aston Martin is ready to deliver their third hypercar. But in the meantime, the automaker is giving us a small taste of what to expect.

Aston Martin recently posted a teaser image of the Project 003 hypercar on social media, along with the caption "The wait is nearly over." Seen above, the image itself gives us a fair look at the body shape, the tail light placement, and something relating to aerodynamics it looks like.

The Project 003, as the number implies, is the third hypercar under the automaker. Before it, the 001 and 002 were later named the Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro. So it's fair to assume that it will also be Valkyrie in some way. But according to Andy Palmer in an interview with Auto Express, it's something in between that and their other plan.

"It's the connector, it's the dot between the Valkyrie and the Ferrari 488 competitor. Let's put it as a LaFerrari competitor so it's in that kind of realm, like the McLaren Senna and Porsche 918. As for power, it would more than compete with those.[background=#ffffff]"[/background]

The model will be offered in both left- and right-hand drive and is limited to 500 examples. Don't ask us what the specs are, though. Aston Martin has yet to reveal that information. But based on Palmer's description, we're expecting something in the 800-900 hp range.
