Aston Martin has been putting a lot of commitment and effort into the hypercar world. This has been primarily seen with the Valkyrie, but the automaker has debuted the next project, code-named the AM-RB 003, at this year's Geneva Motor Show.
Like the Valkyrie, the 003 will be absolutely coated in carbon fiber. With most of the downforce elements hidden under the car, the actual body shape has a greater focus on aerodynamics. And dynamic is right! This will be the first vehicle to feature a new, moving body form. The rear wing's surface can move, allowing the vehicle to adjust downforce without actually changing the wing's angle.
The vehicle has more than just this worth looking at, of course. It contains a fully sealed oil system, allowing for rapid oil changes. It's comparable to an ink-jet printer cartridge.
Lastly, the vehicle is confirmed to have a V-6 engine paired with a KERS-style hybrid system.
That's all that Aston Martin could reveal about the 003 at this time. So far, it looks to be the automaker's most comfortable hypercar. The wider cabin is a perfect example of this, with amenities like cup holders and various cubbies for phones and other small items.
Aston Martin will build 500 examples of the AM-RB 003 as a coupe. No word on pricing, or even the final name, is available at this time.
