Alligators are very common in Florida. You can see them all the time if you're in the right area and it's normally a very harmless encounter. Well, a woman had a pretty close meeting with an alligator on April 26th when the cold-blooded beast decided to take a nap under her car. It was there for about 30 minutes before she and the apartment manager were finally able to get him to go away and it was very lucky that she spotted the gator.

The car she's driving in is a new Corvette, meaning it's very low to the ground and if she had attempted to get in the car without knowing the gator was there, she may have gotten a little bite on her leg. At least we know the gator has good taste in vehicles. With the help of a trusty stick and some good ole fashion loud noises, the alligator very slowly made his way out from under the car. Alligators have made cars their personal bedrooms quite a few times in Florida and police officers have been called to the scene in the past to help remove the creatures.

This time around no police were necessary and the little guy made his way back to the pond. Florida is a beautiful place, but I'm certainly not looking to make a trip out there any time soon.
