George Barris is one wacky car customizer. He is best known for creating the 1966 Batmobile, though he has a strong portfolio beyond that of movies and TV. In this case, we see the 1975 SnakePit, which had I not seen the proof, I'd suspect it to be a work of fiction. This is because the 1975 SnakePit has 6 different Ford V-8 engines.

Unfortunately the vehicle doesn't actually run in its current condition. This monstrosity of engines has recently been put up for sale after being held by a private collection for about 10 years, however. Even in its current state, the sale price is set at $750,000. Though the final price is negotiable. Specs aside, the over the top nature is sure to validate the price, if not because it's a George Barris creation.

the combined displacement of all 6 engines is around 2106 cubic inches, for a total kick of 2,000 horsepower. All of that is routed through 2 different Ford C-6 transmissions and is exhausted out of a total 48 exhaust pipes. This monster was allegedly capable of up to 300mph, though there was no evidence towards this claim.

Take this sin of a vehicle, slap 6 wheels on it, cover it in the needed dials for engine status, and 2 gas pedals and you have what is essentially the human centipede equivalent of cars.

Would you pay 3/4 of a million dollars to own this drivable Hot Wheels? Sure you could spend that money for a much better car, but that car wouldn't have the same bragging rights as one with 6 engines.
