For those that sometimes wonder why Infiniti has always lagged behind BMW M, Mercedes AMG and other high end luxury car performance divisions, well, we have some news for you!
In a recent article posted over on Nicoclub.com, they had a sit down with a few lead Infiniti Engineers to discuss their upcoming projects, some of which was to produce higher performing vehicles, namely the Infiniti IPL. But what was even MORE interesting was this tidbit of information that they decided to share;
Yes, you heard that right, a 600+ hp car! Although one should pose a few questions... Could it be that this would be a direct competitor to the Lexus LFA? How will this affect the Nissan GTR which is basically their current "Halo" car? Aside from the higher output vehicle, it is good to hear that they are still focusing on performance and not venturing too far into "green" territory. So what say you? Are you excited by this news?One being similar to the current IPL, and the other with substantially more performance, which will produce a halo car for Infiniti... with 600+ horsepower.
