In a crazy race, a 4000-HP twin-turbo Corvette took to the skies after accelerating at such insane speeds. While drag races do tend to have some pretty intense moments, this wheelie turned into a rocket ship launch very quickly. The driver, Daniel Pharris, was racing Brandon Pesz at the Radial Revenge event at Tusla Raceway Park, and he certainly wasn't expecting this kind of outcome.

Like every crazy story out there, there is obviously a crazy video to go along with it. It shows multiple angles, slow motion, the whole nine yards. At the end of the crash, you see Pharris exit the vehicle and walk around, which is a pretty good sign. He is okay and sustained no major injuries, but the car took quite the hit. I give it a solid 10 for takeoff, but the landing was probably a 2 at best. The hood ripped off the car as it launched itself into the air, and that extra weight would have made the ground impact much more aggressive.

If you haven't seen the video, make sure you check it out below. It's definitely worth seeing and I don't know how long it will be until another flying car video comes out. Luckily, everybody involved in the race was perfectly fine and the onlookers got their money's worth. I don't think there was one disappointed fan in the stands that day. Check it out!
