After more than 8 years, the Nissan's 370z is due for a replacement. That's why Nissan is expected to reveal the new 2018 Nissan Z later this year. As of now, nothing is certain about the Nissan Z. That doesn't stop all of us from doing a fair share of speculation, though. To be honest, that's part of the fun.

The most likely idea is that the new Nissan Z will jump off from the Infiniti Q60. Based on a recent article on Car and Driver, the Nissan Z will feature a model sporting 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6, having it perform at 400 hp at 6,400 rpm. Nissan is also rumored to be working on a hybrid model that includes an electric motor capable of producing 160 hp.

Regardless of what makes the 2018 Nissan Z new and different, we are guaranteed to see a lot of changes all over. The new model is due for a complete redesign, inside and out. There are plenty of rumors out there as to what that exactly means. However, we may not learn anything for sure until it's unveiled at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show in October. But even after that, we won't really get to see it in showrooms until 2019.
