I recently ran across a few videos and some debate on which Mustang is faster. The 2011 Mustang v6 or the 2010 Mustang GT?
MotorTrend put together a nice video highlighting the new v6:
Both sport similar horse power numbers but there are some key differences. The v6 has 305hp but comes in at a whopping 3,750lbs while the GT whips out 315hp and comes in a bit lighter at 3,533lbs. Well, numbers generally give us an idea of a difference but you never know until you go head to head which can be seen within the video below...
Interesting results. The v6 keeps up and is only behind by about a car length. The GT's torque advantage really shows here but the v6 does seem to gain some ground in the mid-range. I'm still having trouble believing the 5.1 0-60 time of the v6 though considering it's weight.
