Well, if I've learned one thing in my life it's that some people do things just for the sake of doing them. Take this man for example. The 78-year-old U.K. driver who decided he was going to turn his BMW into a replica of Thomas the Tank Engine. There is absolutely no logical reasoning to do it aside from the fact that, well, he can do whatever he wants. The problem here is that, just because he wants to do it, it doesn't mean that it's legal.

He was pulled over on the highway by police and can no longer drive the car as it isn't street legal. He was ticketed for driving a car with unauthorized modifications that may be dangerous or might impede vision. This isn't his only unique car. The man also has a car with a full-sized toilet mounted on the roof, which is street-legal. On top of that, he has another car of a similar fashion with a sink mounted on the roof, as well as a car covered in faux fur to make it resemble a large dog.

This guy might not be too popular with the police, but I'm sure local children are thrilled when he drives by. I don't know what fuels people to do things like this, but hey, it ain't my life.
