Do you hold a love for Tesla vehicles and station wagons in equal parts? While the electric automaker has dipped its toes into a number of different vehicle types, the station wagon is not one of them. Which is why QWest Norfolk took the matters into their own hands.

The United Kingdom-based company has taken a Tesla Model S and converted it into a station wagon. QWest is a carbon fiber specialist, so they're used to modifying bodies. By no surprise, they chose to use carbon fiber for this project. You can even see some of it when the tailgate is lifted.

The Model S wagon, understandably, offers significantly more headroom in the back. The panoramic rear window increases the overall light level in the cabin. According to QWest, the vehicle's design is more aerodynamic than the Model S sedan.

Even better is the availability. QWest is willing to convert a Model S for those interested. The process takes about 10 weeks and will require the vehicle be transported to their facility in Norfolk. The process is understandably expensive, as well. The starting price sits at $84,000. You could buy an entire Tesla Model X with that kind of money.

If you don't want to go with QWest for the modification, other tuners have taken up the challenge as well. Ares, which is also working on a Model S convertible, is one such a company.
