Tesla has been touring their upcoming vehicles across the United States as of late. While this started with the Tesla Roadster 2020, now the Tesla Semi prototype has been spotted in Dallas. It was making its way to the neighboring city of Plano, where it met PepsiCo.

The semi was first spotted in St-Louis for an Anheuser-Busch exclusive look at the vehicle. The company had ordered 40 trucks last year. so it makes sense that Pepsi would see it next, given they ordered 100.

This was a private event, allowing PepsiCo to see the model up close. According to PepsiCo employees, the drink company intends to order significantly more, if all goes well.

If the specs for the Tesla Semi are as good as expected, then we might see entire fleets replaced with the vehicle. Projections indicate that the truck is so much more efficient, that it will pay for itself in under two years.
