Its been about five years since we saw the concept for the Lamborghini Urus SUV. At last, we are seeing it unhidden.

The body has a certain pow to it. Its design is by no means subtle. Is it much of a Lamborghini without that "look at me" style to it, though? It's surprising to see how close the Production Urus stayed to its previous concept design. You would think over a 5-year span, more would have been changed.

Inside the cabin, the Urus has the normal 5 seating as well as latch points for children's seats, making this a surprisingly good family car. You have a choice of either 2-way adjustable, heated sports seats or 18-way heated and ventilated adjustable massage seats. The driver seat was given special attention to make the driver feel like a pilot, with touch screens and buttons galore.

Of course, the most important fact lies under the hood. There you will find a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine pushing 650 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. That power is controlled with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission allows it to reach 62mph in 3.6 seconds and top speeds of 186mph. To keep that much kick in its place are 17.3-inch carbon-ceramic rotors in the front with 10-piston calipers, and 14.6-inch rear discs with four-piston calipers.

The Lamborghini Urus SUV will begin deliveries around spring of 2018. Be prepared for an MSRP of $200,000.
