Well, the first car has been taken out of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and unfortunately, it wasn't the drivers fault at all. The car taken out was the No. 88 Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR. It was being driven by Khaled al Qubaisi. The reason for the crash was actually due to the driver behind him, Roman Rusinov.

Rusinov was driving the No. 26 G-Drive/TDS LMP2, and just plastered No. 88 into the wall. There was nothing that Khaled al Qubaisi could have done as he lost control of the vehicle. The No. 88 car could not be repaired and has retired from the race. The No. 26 car, however, is being fixed up and is likely to keep on racing.
