There's a certain appeal to owning a vehicle from the cinema. Normally this means the Batmobile or Micheal Jackson's Pepsi Car. This time, a somewhat less flattering vehicle has entered the market, the Dumb and Dumber mini bike.

In the 1994 comedy, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels ride a mini bike to Aspen, Colorado, to reunite Mary Swanson with her briefcase. While it wasn't a speaking role, the bike was an integral part of the story, all the same. Now the bike has been listed on eBay as one of the 2 used for filming. One bike was gifted to Planet Hollywood for display, the other was given to film transportation coordinator Gordie Merrick. The current owner of the for-sale bike had acquired it directly from Merrick, and spend a year cleaning it up prior to its listing.

Currently, the bike is listed at $35,867.00 on eBay, with about a day left in the auction. A hefty price for fame. The deal comes with the bike, a bag, a helmet, and the briefcase, all themed from the film. The owner has also stated that 10% of the proceeds will go to the Best Friends Animal Society.

This is a big price to pay for an otherwise unimpressive vehicle. But for cinephiles and film fanatics, this is a one of a kind piece.
